Nancy Ma and her art experience
Many people know Nancy Ma as an award winning multicultural marketer and a prominent figurehead in the Chinese Community in Australia. Few know that she has been practising ceramics since the late 1970’s in Hong Kong. Nancy studied ceramics on and off part-time at TAFE colleges in Sydney in the past twenty years, where she gained a strong foundation in ceramics. She received the award for achieving the highest Post Graduate result on record from the School of Design, the University of Technology, Sydney in 1991 for her Post Graduate Studies - Graduate Diploma in Design. She received a Master of Studio Art degree in 2007 and Master of Visual Art degree in 2010 from the Sydney College of the Art (University of Sydney), and is currently a PhD candidate at University of Sydney.
